Newcastle United are planning to open contract talks with Isaac Hayden, Federico Fernandez and DeAndre Yedlin, according to the Telegraph.
The Newcastle trio all have just one year left on their current deals at St. James’ Park.
However, the Telegraph claim that Steve Bruce is planning to keep them all, and wants to start talks with them over staying on Tyneside.
It is no surprise to see Newcastle eager to keep Hayden, as he has been a key player for Bruce during his time in charge.
Fernandez has also started regularly in central defence, where he has fought off stiff competition for a first-team place.
Yedlin, on the other hand, does actually face a fight for his place in Newcastle’s line-up.

Yedlin was displaced in Newcastle’s starting team after the Premier League restart, with Javier Manquillo taking his place.
Yedlin has actually been linked with an exit from Newcastle this summer in the Chronicle, but it seems that the £5 million Rafael Benitez signing (Chronicle) could be sticking around for the long-term now, with Bruce keen to keep him around.
