Newcastle United are reportedly keen on West Bromwich Albion’s Craig Dawson.

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United are planning to make a £15million bid for West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson this summer.
The Magpies have guaranteed their Premier League status for next season after a fine 2018, but the same can’t be said for West Brom, whose relegation to the Championship was confirmed on Tuesday night.
Darren Moore may have impressed since filling in following Alan Pardew’s exit, but the Baggies face a big summer of rebuilding, and that will include losing players.
The Daily Mail now report that defender Craig Dawson is a man in demand, as Newcastle United are lining up a move to sign him this summer, eight years since he joined the Baggies.

It’s claimed that Magpies boss Rafael Benitez is set to launch a £15million move for Dawson, in the hope of beating Scottish Premiership champions Celtic to his signature.
Dawson, 28, is thought to be a target for a number of clubs this summer given his versatility to play at centre back and right back, though the £15million fee would be steep for many.
His goal threat has earned him praise over the years, and the former Rochdale man would give Benitez another defender to challenge Florian Lejeune and Jamaal Lascelles, as well as solid cover for DeAndre Yedlin given Jesus Gamez’s impending exit.
