Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are reportedly ready to pay a good transfer fee for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Premier League club Newcastle United are interested in signing Federico Chiesa from Serie A outfit Juventus in the summer transfer window.
The Italian publication have reported that Newcastle are ready to pay €50 million (£43 million) in transfer fees for the 25-year-old Italy international winger.
However, former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners Juventus want €60 million (£51.55 million) for Chiesa, who is “often simply unstoppable for his opponents” according to the Bianconeri’s official website.
Aston Villa have also been linked with the former Fiorentina star.

What should Newcastle United do about Juventus winger Federico Chiesa?
In our opinion, Newcastle United should not pay the asking price for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.
We do not actually think that Newcastle should even offer €50 million (£43 million) for the winger.
It would be a risk for the Magpies.
Chiesa has had serious injury problems in recent years and did not really play much football last season.
The Italy international made six starts and 15 substitute appearances in Serie A last season.
The winger scored two goals and gave five assists in those games.
Chiesa also scored one goal and gave one assist in three starts and four substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League and played 16 minutes in the UEFA Champions League for Juve last season.
