Newcastle United’s move for Stanley Nsoki could be on the brink of collapse.

According to Get French Football News, Newcastle United’s move for Stanley Nsoki is at risk of collapsing after he was unhappy with their wage offer.

The Magpies need a new left back to compete with Paul Dummett, with loanee Antonio Barreca leaving the club this summer having struggled last season.

Paris Saint-Germain talent Nsoki has emerged as a top target to fill that role, and an €11million (£10million) bid was allegedly accepted on Sunday.

However, Newcastle’s contract offer has reportedly left Nsoki disappointed, receiving low-ball wage offers despite their initial eagerness to get him signed up.

Nsoki is now willing to abandon the move if Newcastle don’t increase their offer soon, potentially inside 48 hours as the deal reaches breaking point.

That would be a huge disappointment for Newcastle, as they had pursued Nsoki last summer only for no deal to materialise. Hopes were raised that Nsoki would finally head to Tyneside, but it may fall apart once again.

The 20-year-old is a two-time title winner with PSG, and brings versatility given that he can play at left back and centre back, whilst his huge potential is another major benefit.

Nsoki ticks so many boxes for Newcastle, but unless they get serious with their wage offers to the youngster, they risk seeing him slip through their fingers.
