The out-of-favour Newcastle United ace is linked with Leeds United and Aston Villa.

Leeds United and Aston Villa might have been given a bit of a boost regarding Newcastle United’s Karl Darlow.
The Sun reported this week that Championship giants the Whites and Aston Villa want the 28-year-old in a potential £4 million January deal.
Leeds need competition for Bailey Peacock-Farrell after Jamal Blackman returned to parent club Chelsea with a broken leg, while the Villans seeminlgy want an improvement on Orjan Nyland.
Darlow has fallen behind Newcastle number one Martin Dubravka in the pecking order under Rafael Benitez, who also has Freddie Woodman and Rob Elliot.
And according to The Northern Echo, Benitez is ‘likely’ to offload one of those three.
Leeds – who have also been linked with a loan move for Woodman – and Villa would be delight if the Spanish manager makes Darlow available for transfer.
And surely the player himself wouldn’t turn up his nose at moving to the Championship.

After all, he has played just one game for Newcastle since last February after Dubravka came in and made the shirt his own.
Leeds sit second in the Championship with a five-point cushion in the automatic promotion spots, while Aston Villa, unbeaten since October, are four points adrift of the playoff places in eighth.
