According to The Daily Mail, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs interested in signing Todd Cantwell from Norwich City in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Tottenham have assessed the 22-year-old midfielder this season.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are interested in the youngster, and so are Leicester and Newcastle, according to the report.

The report has added that the Magpies and the Foxes have made their interest in the Norwich midfielder known.

Stats

According to WhoScored, Cantwell has made 28 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Norwich this season, scoring six goals and providing two assists in the process.

Leaving Norwich City

Described as “exceptional” by former Norwich striker Chris Sutton on BBC Radio 5 Live last month (click here to read more), Cantwell has been superb for the Canaries this season.

The youngster has shown that he can hold his own in the Premier League, and with Norwich having already been relegated to the Championship, it is hard to see the Canaries keep hold of the England Under-21 international beyond the summer.
