West Bromwich Albion have reportedly offered Matt Phillips out to several Premier League clubs amid reported interest from Newcastle United.

The Chronicle has reported that West Brom ace Matt Phillips has been offered out to a number of Premier League clubs with the winger keen to leave The Hawthorns this summer, just days after Newcastle were linked with a potential interest.
It will be interesting to see whether there are any takers for the 27-year-old, and whether West Brom’s apparent willingness to consider selling tempts Benitez to rethink his plans and perhaps bump him up the wishlist.

Phillips may not have enjoyed the best season last term, but he has proven that he can be extremely influential in the Premier League, having provided eight assists during his first campaign with West Brom as well as his last season in the top flight with former club Queens Park Rangers.
If he finds that form again, he could be a huge asset to Darren Moore’s side in the Championship and will certainly be able to make an impact if there are any takers in the Premier League.
And with West Brom seemingly willing to consider a deal for the wide-man, perhaps Benitez may just be tempted to look at Phillips’ situation a little more closely in the coming weeks.
