Maximo Perrone is quickly becoming one of the main protagonists of the January transfer window.

Newcastle, as one of the richest clubs in the world can promise future success at St James’ Park, Manchester City have been one of the dominant forces in English football over the past 10 years, while Wolves could probably guarantee him a route into the first-team immediately.
At the age of 19, Perrone has a big decision to make here. Does he want to follow the money, follow the trophies or give himself a chance of playing regular football in England’s top-flight?
Meanwhile, away from England, Benfica is an option for Perrone, and, in our view, that may be his best bet.
Not only would Portuguese culture be allow for an easier adaptation period, while Benfica are usually brilliant at bringing these young talents through such as Enzo Fernandez and Darwin Nunez.
