Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a move to Newcastle, as well as Tottenham and West Ham.

Portuguese outlet A Bola claims Newcastle United have joined the race to sign Sporting Lisbon attacker Bruno Fernandes, with West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur already said to be keen.
The 23-year-old has shone for Sporting Lisbon during the 2017-18 campaign, scoring a huge 16 goals and laying on 20 assists during his 56 league and cup appearances for the Portuguese giants.
However, he is one of a number of names looking to terminate their contracts this summer after a training ground attack following Sporting’s disappointing third-placed finish.
Indeed, Fernandes joins the likes of Bas Dost, William Carvalho and Rui Patricio in looking to leave the club. However, it is believed that the players will be sold at a cut-price deal as a compromise.
The report claims that plenty of sides are interested in Fernandes, who made two Group B appearances at the World Cup for Portugal who crashed out of the competition at the last 16 stage to Uruguay.

Newcastle have joined Premier League duo Tottenham and West Ham in being interested in Fernandes, while French giants Monaco and Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid are also keen.
Sky Sports claimed last week that West Ham had made a £20million offer for Fernandes, but it remains to be seen if Rafa Benitez would be able to convince owner Mike Ashley into splashing out such a large figure.
