According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United are holding talks this week about a deal to bring Atlanta United playmaker Miguel Almiron to St James’ Park.

Now, the Daily Mail report that Newcastle are holding talks in the United States this week about a deal for Almiron, in the hope of beating other Premier League clubs to his signature.
The Paraguayan playmaker, 24, has hit 13 goals and 13 assists in 36 games for Atlanta United in this MLS season, but it set to move on to England in the January transfer window.
Now seemingly Newcastle’s top target, Almiron would cost around £25million, potentially making him the club’s record signing – but with Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham United also keen, Newcastle are holding talks this week to try and secure an exciting January deal.
