Newcastle United are reportedly planning major changes this summer.

According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United are set to hand manager Rafael Benitez a new contract and a huge transfer budget for the summer window.
The Magpies lost 1-0 at Everton on Monday night but had won four games in a row before that defeat, effectively guaranteeing their Premier League status for next season.
Whilst Benitez has somehow got Newcastle challenging for a top half finish, but reinforcement this summer are paramount, and it seems that the Spaniard will be backed.
The Chronicle report that Newcastle will not only give Benitez a new contract, but will also hand him a major transfer budget to re-tool his squad for next season.

Signing loanees Martin Dubravka and Kenedy appear to be a priority, whilst a new striker is also needed whether it’s loanee Islam Slimani or another attacker.
The report also added that a host of players are set to leave the club; loaned out misfits Aleksandar Mitrovic, Matz Sels, Jack Colback, Achraf Lazaar and Henri Saivet are all set to leave, as well as Chancel Mbemba.
It’s also claimed that Curtis Good, Jesus Gamez, Massadio Haidara, Stuart Findlay and Yasin Ben El-Mhanni will be released when their contracts expire this summer, freeing up space in the squad and on the Newcastle wage bill.
