Newcastle United are far more likely to sign Rob Holding from Arsenal than Eddie Nketiah, the Telegraph report.
Newcastle have apparently made loan enquiries for both Holding and Nketiah, with Steve Bruce keen on the pair.
However, Premier League rules dictate that Newcastle will only be allowed to sign one player on loan from the same club.
It means that Newcastle will have to pick between Holding and Nketiah, if they are to grab one on loan.
And the Telegraph believe that a deal for Holding has a far greater chance of going through than one for Nketiah.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has actually taken a shine to Nketiah and played him fairly regularly.

Newcastle also appear to be closing in on a deal for Callum Wilson, which should reduce their need for another striker significantly.
Holding, who earned the tag of ‘quality’ from Tony Cascarino on TalkSPORT, also doesn’t appear a vital addition, as Newcastle are fairly well stocked at centre-back.
But the English defender will help to make Bruce’s side even stronger, and he could get regular game time at St. James’ Park.
