Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and David Moyes’s West Ham United will have to pay €35 million (£29.35 million) for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr, according to FootMercato.
Newcastle and West Ham target Ismaila Sarr available for £29m
FootMercato have reported that Watford are willing to sell Sarr in the summer transfer window and want €35 million (£29.35 million).
The Hornets, who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League, could reportedly decide to drop their asking price towards the end of the window if they are unable to find a club who would pay them €35 million (£29.35 million) for the 24-year-old winger – who is “frightening” and whose “acceleration is phenomenal”, according to his former Watford teammate Ben Foster on the Premier League’s YouTube channel in September 2021.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Dean Jones told GiveMeSport in June that Newcastle want to sign Sarr from Watford in the summer transfer window.
According to talkSPORT this month, West Ham are considering a bid for the 24-year-old Senegal international winger.

Good signing?
In our view, for £29 million, Ismaila Sarr would be a good signing for West Ham United or Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
The Senegalese is still only 24, and from what we have seen of him in the Premier League, we think that he would improve and get even better.
Sarr has scored 10 goals and created 14 chances in 50 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
