Souare is reportedly a target for Newcastle as the clock ticks down.

The Guardian have claimed in their live transfer blog (Thursday, 09:35am) that Crystal Palace could loan left-back Pape Souare out to a Ligue 1 side in France – meaning Newcastle United could miss out.
Newcastle were linked with a move for 28-year-old Souare back in the January transfer window, and could be keeping tabs on the defender ahead of the 5pm deadline with Rafa Benitez seemingly a fan.
The Toon need a left-back and have been in the market for a number of left-sided defenders including Joe Bryan, Leighton Baines and Stanley N’Soki, but a move is yet to materialise.
Now, Palace are stating that Newcastle’s January target Souare is surplus to requirements at Selhurst Park after dropping down the pecking order – but Roy Hodgson’s side are keen to send him to France.

That would see Newcastle miss out if they are indeed looking to reignite their January interest, with the need for a left-back great as Paul Dummett endured an uninspiring season on the left side of defence last time around.
The Toon have brought in Martin Dubravka, Fabian Schar, Yoshinori Muto, Kenedy, Salomon Rondon and Ki-Sung yueng this summer, but remain in the market for players with Rafa Benitez still frustrated.
