Newcastle United are considering move for the West Ham United striker it seems.
The Mirror have reported that Newcastle United are interested in signing West Ham United striker Andy Carroll on loan.
It has been six years since Carroll left Newcastle for Liverpool in a £35 million deal but he has routinely been linked with a return to the Magpies, his boyhood club.
West Ham’s acquisition of Javier Hernandez has lessened the need for the big hitman, who managed seven goals in 15 Premier League starts last season.

The report goes on to claim that Carroll, who has had more than his fair share of injuries down the years, earns around £130,000 per week in East London.
Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez wrapped up a £5 million deal for Joselu this week, with the Spaniard joining Dwight Gayle and Aleksandar Mitrovic as United’s forward options.
As a result, it remains to be seen how desperate Benitez is to get another striker.
Re-signing Carroll would certainly divide opinion among Newcastle fans, many of whom were unhappy with the forward for leaving in the first place.
Then again, plenty more might be willing to put pride to one side and welcome him back with open arms. Fitness permitting, he is a very capable centre-forward and you could argue that he is more effective than Gayle, Mitrovic and the unproven Joselu.
