Newcastle United are reportedly keen on Abdulkadir Omur.

According to Karadeniz Gazete in Turkey, Newcastle United are rivalling Liverpool for the signature of Trabzonspor playmaker Abdulkadir Omur.
The Magpies are in the market for another playmaker this month, as Ayoze Perez hasn’t exactly impressed in that number 10 role under Rafael Benitez.
Benitez doesn’t have a huge budget to work with though, and with a move for Miguel Almiron up in the air, other targets need to be eyed up.
Now, Turkish newspaper Karadeniz Gazete report that Newcastle have joined the race to sign Trabzonspor playmaker Omur this month.
Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move to sign Omur, but their former boss Benitez is believed to be ‘insistent’ on signing the Turkish talent.

Omur, 19, has come up through the Trabzonspor ranks, and has impressed this season with two goals and four assists in 16 league games.
The teenager is a diminutive, skilful attacking midfielder, but wouldn’t come cheap, which not only makes Liverpool favourites, but would make a move to Newcastle seem unlikely regardless of Liverpool’s interest.
