Ahead of the January transfer window opening Newcastle United are Jasper Cillessen’s best option if he leaves Barcelona, according to Spanish publication El Gol Digital.
The Catalans have already identified who they want to replace Cillessen as the number two goalkeeper at the Camp Nou behind Marc-Andre ter Stegen, with Adrian Ortola ready to make the step up from the B team.

Cillessen has grown frustrated with a lack of game time at Barca following a 2016 move from Ajax, making 13 appearances in all competitions and only three this season.
