Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are both reportedly interested in West Ham United forward Michail Antonio.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Newcastle and Wolves are both interested in signing West Ham forward Michail Antonio this summer with the Hammers willing to listen to offers for the 28-year-old.

Antonio endured a difficult campaign with the Irons, missing large parts of the season due to injury. When he did play, he managed to contribute three goals in the top flight, while also providing an assist in the win over Watford in February.

And TEAMtalk is now suggesting that Manuel Pellegrini is prepared to cash in on the former Nottingham Forest ace – who earns £70,000-a-week at the London Stadium, according to Spotrac – and Crystal Palace are currently in talks over a potential swoop.

However, Palace are not going to land his signature without competition it seems, with TEAMtalk adding that Newcastle, Wolves and Bournemouth are all also in the mix as they each look to improve their squads for next season.

The Magpies finished 10th in their first season back in the Premier League, but it is little surprise that Rafa Benitez seemingly wishes to strengthen his attacking ranks with their top goalscorer finishing with just eight goals and only two members of his squad scoring more than four times in the league.

Meanwhile, Wolves will be looking to add players who boast Premier League experience after they clinched the Championship title with ease this past season. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have wasted no time in getting down to business in the transfer market, and they may perhaps feel that the versatility that Antonio brings would tick another box for their squad.

However, both Newcastle and Wolves may have to step up their pursuit if they are seriously interested with Palace seemingly in the driving seat.
