According to a report in SDNA, Newcastle United and Sheffield United are interested in signing Mady Camara from Olympiacos in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Premier League duo Newcastle and United have made offers for the Guinea international defensive midfielder.

However, Olympiacos want more than what the Magpies and the Blades have proposed and will sell the 23-year-old for more than €20 million (£18.27 million).

Good signing for Newcastle United or Sheffield United?

Camara is a very good defensive midfield who has done well at Olympiacos so far and has progressed well.

The 23-year-old played his role in his club willing the Super League Greece title in 2019-20.

The youngster also has important international experience, having played 11 times for the Guinea national football team.

Both Newcastle and United will play in the Premier League next season, and the Magpies and the Blades could be very appealing to Camara.

Amid the current economic climate in the world of football, €20 million (£18.27 million) for a 23-year-old could prove to be a bargain in the long run.
