Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.

According to Tuttosport, Manchester United and Newcastle United are interested in signing Federico Chiesa from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

The Italy international winger, described as “really special” by Juventus and Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon in La Gazzetta dello Sport in July 2021, is reportedly open about his future.

In our view, Manchester United would have a better chance than Newcastle United of signing Federico Chiesa from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

Now, while Newcastle are a big club and will play in the UEFA Champions League next season, they could have have FFP issues if they spend too much money in the summer of 2023.

Manchester United are arguably the biggest club of England and will aim to win the Premier League title in the coming seasons.

And the Red Devils will also play in the UEFA Champions League next season.

We believe that if Juventus gets a good offer for the winger, then they could be tempted to cash in on the 25-year-old, who was injured for a chunk of this past season.
