According to Eldesmarque, Newcastle and Liverpool have joined Arsenal in the race to bring Villarreal wonderkid Yeremy Pino to the Premier League.

What’s the story?

Well, Newcastle, Liverpool and Arsenal aren’t the only ones interested in signing the 19-year-old, who looks set to achieve big things in football.

Eldesmarque believe Real Madrid are also interested in the teenager, who is said to have a release clause worth €80m (£67m) in his contract.

The Spanish news outlet add that Newcastle, Liverpool and Arsenal have all made contact with Villarreal, as they attempt to sign the Spain international.

Manchester City are also believed to be interested in Pino.

So far this season, the Villarreal No.21 has scored seven goals in 34 appearances, while also providing four assists.

It may be difficult to negotiate a deal for Pino without paying the release clause, as he has a contract with Villarreal which runs until June 2027.

Newcastle, Liverpool or Arsenal could sign a gem

In our view, Pino has the potential to become one of the best players on the planet one day, so the Premier League trio should definitely keep an eye on him.

In a 5-1 win over Espanyol on February 27th, the Spaniard scored four goals as he announced himself in La Liga.

It seemed to be a coming of age moment for the right-winger, who has the world at his feet.

Admittedly, £67m may feel like a lot to pay, but if he continues to develop at this rate, it will seem like a bargain in a few years.

Keep an eye on this saga, as we wouldn’t be surprised to see that release clause triggered this summer.
