According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United are looking at other right wing backs ahead of DeAndre Yedlin’s potential exit from the club.
It’s claimed that Yedlin’s departure now seems ‘inevitable’, as he has just 12 months left on his deal and wants more playing time.
The Magpies are seemingly preparing for his departure. They have been scouting right-sided wing backs ahead of potentially signing one this summer.
That would again suggest that Yedlin will be on the move, and tomorrow could prove to be a pivotal day for the American.
CBS Sports claim that Yedlin’s representatives will meet with Newcastle on Monday to trash out his future, with a decision for him to leave now expected.
Teams around Europe allegedly want Yedlin, and Newcastle look unlikely to stand in his way after four years on Tyneside.

Rafael Benitez brought Yedlin to Newcastle in 2016, luring him from Tottenham Hotspur. Yedlin has now racked up more than 100 appearances for the Magpies.
With Emil Krafth and Javi Manquillo on board and Valentino Lazaro a potential permanent signing, Newcastle targeting another right back does seem surprising – but Yedlin is surely going regardless.
