Newcastle United and Southampton are reportedly eyeing Jarrod Bowen for January.

According to The Express, Newcastle United and Southampton are both keen to land Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen when the January transfer window opens.
Bowen, 22, started out in non-league football with Hereford, before he was spotted by Hull and signed by Steve Bruce at the KCOM Stadium.
The winger starred last season, 22 goals and four assists, whilst he’s also enjoyed a strong start to this season with three goals and one assist in six games.
It’s something of a surprise that Bowen is still with the Tigers, as many expected him to move on over the summer, but there may be January interest being planned already.
The report claims that Newcastle boss Bruce wants to reunite with Bowen, but will face competition from Southampton when 2020 comes around.
Bruce will hope that his prior relationship with Bowen can help win the race, and would actually give Newcastle a very dangerous attack.

Bruce would be able to use Allan Saint-Maximin, Miguel Almiron and Bowen behind Joelinton, providing plenty of pace and skill behind the powerful big man.
Newcaslte and Southampton scouts are allegedly watching him closely, but they’ll have to pay around £20million to lure him away from Hull.
