Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic wants more first-team football amid links to Crystal Palace and Swansea City.
According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is keen to play more football having been on the fringes of the Magpies side of late.
Mitrovic, 22, earned a move to Newcastle in the summer of 2015 after hitting 44 goals in 90 games for Belgian side Anderlecht, and he enjoyed some ups and downs in his first Premier League season last term.

The Serbian international scored nine Premier League goals but also suffered some disciplinary problems, having picked up two red cards and four yellow cards.
Mitrovic decided to stick with Newcastle despite their relegation to the Championship, but has mostly served as a backup to Magpies top scorer Dwight Gayle this season.

Mitrovic has started just four league games this season, and hasn’t featured at all in Newcastle’s last two games having been in unused substitute in wins over Wigan Athletic and Burton Albion.
Now, the Daily Mail report that the burly striker wants to play more first-team football, and is keen to return to the top flight, with Crystal Palace and Swansea City both believed to be keen on signing him in next month’s transfer window.
It’s stated that both Premier League teams are lining up £15million bids to sign Mitrovic as they look to pull away from the relegation zone, but whether Newcastle would entertain the idea of selling him is another thing.
The report adds that Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez is actually eyeing a January signing, as he wants to bring in another striker – despite the fact that summer signing Daryl Murphy has yet to play even a minute of Championship action for Newcastle since arriving from Ipswich Town in August.
