Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen has been linked with Newcastle United.

According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United have abandoned talks for Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen over concerns about the £20million asking price.
The Magpies are still in the market for more attacking options even after signing Joelinton from Hoffenheim, and at least one winger is an absolute must.
Nice winger Allan Saint-Maximin has been linked, but Hull’s Bowen has also been touted, having been signed by new Magpies boss Steve Bruce at Hull in 2014.
However, it’s now believed that Newcastle have backed away from Bowen after learning he’ll cost £20million, believing that’s a little overpriced.
Whether Newcastle return for Bowen remains to be seen, but with a similar fee required to sign Saint-Maximin, it may well be a case of one or the other rather than both.
Bowen, 22, starred in the Championship last season, scoring 22 goals and notching four assists in 46 outings, becoming one of the top talents in the second tier.

A left-footed winger who predominantly plays on the right, Bowen is a dangerous goalscoring threat with huge potential, with a particularly impressive long range shot in his arsenal.
Bruce would have surely loved a reunion with the winger, but a move for Saint-Maximin now seems more likely – and only time will tell whether that’s really the right decision.
