Everton and West Ham have both been linked with Inter Milan’s Gabigol.

Italian outlet CalcioMercato claim that Everton and West Ham United have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Inter Milan striker Gabigol, as Fenerbahce have pushed themselves into pole position for the Brazilian.
Goal Brazil has claimed that Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham have all been in talks with Gabriel’s influential agent Kia Joorabchian, as the 22-year-old has scored 18 league goals in 35 games since rejoining Santos on loan.
Joining Inter in the summer of August 2016 for a whopping price believed to be in the region of £26million, he has since managed just 10 appearances for the Italian outfit and since gone on loan to Benfica and Santos.
But now the player has rejuvenated his form back in his home country, Inter want to recoup as much of the £26million they paid for him just over two years ago. Brazilian outlet UOL claim Inter want exactly that figure.

Even if West Ham, Everton or indeed Palace were keen on signing Gabigol for that figure, though, they have suffered an even further blow as Turkish side Fenerbahce are winning the race for the Inter striker.
With a month until the window opens, it remains to be seen where Gabigol will end up by the end of January – though a move is hardly going to be done in the early stages of the window as his loan with Santos ends on New Year’s Eve.
