According to Tuttosport, Tottenham have ‘appeared’ as contenders to hire Simone Inzaghi as his future at Lazio hangs in the balance.
The 45-year-old is yet to commit himself to the Serie A outfit, even though his current deal expires on June 30th.
Lazio’s President, Claudio Lotito, is also yet to make Inzaghi an offer.
As a result, Tottenham have now ‘appeared’ as a potential destination for the Italian, who has enjoyed a decent managerial career so far.
In 333 games as a manager, the Piacenza-born coach has won the Italian Cup and also the Italian Super Cup on two occasions.
Inzaghi has also won 190 of his 333 games as a manager, which isn’t bad at all.
He has also drawn 54 of those games, losing 89, while watching his side secure a total of 624 points.

Inzaghi’s teams have scored 703 goals overall, conceding 441.
On average, he has secured 1.87 points per game as a manager.
Lazio currently sit sixth in Serie A, and are not on track to secure a place in any European competition next season unless Juventus slip up.
Tuttosport add that Leicester are also a potential destination for Inzaghi, in the case that Brendan Rodgers leaves the King Power Stadium.

Funnily enough, Tottenham have been linked with a move for the ex-Celtic boss.
It remains to be seen who will replace José Mourinho.
However, in our view, Daniel Levy will surely have someone in place ahead of the transfer window so Tottenham can plan for reinforcements.
With Inzaghi’s contract set to expire in weeks, keep an eye on his situation…
