The quest of Steven Gerrard’s Rangers to bring Lewis Ferguson to Ibrox is going to become harder.
Earlier this month, The Scottish Sun reported that Rangers want to sign Ferguson from Aberdeen in the summer transfer window.
The report also stated that Aberdeen had turned down a bid of £2 million from Watford for the 21-year-old midfielder.
The Sun has now reported that Watford have had two bids rejected for the Scottish youngster, and that the promoted Premier League club plan to make a third one.
It seems that Watford are determined to sign Ferguson.
The 21-year-old is a very talented and promising young midfielder who has the potential to make it big in the Premier League.
It appears that Rangers have a fight on their hands to sign Ferguson.
Watford will play in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship.

The Hornets will have more money than Rangers to spend this summer, but the Gers could play in the Champions League next season and that could be appealing to the 21-year-old.
Ferguson has scored eight goals and provided two assists in 30 Scottish Premiership games this season.
