Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is now facing crunch talks over his future with both Nuno Espirito Santo and Fabio Paratici.
That’s according to the London Evening Standard, who claim that Ndombele will be summoned for talks after the transfer deadline passed without an exit route in place.
Ndombele wants to leave Tottenham, but no deal was done before the transfer window closed, meaning he is a Tottenham player until January at the very least.
Those talks will be held this coming week, with Tottenham seemingly looking to gauge Ndombele’s commitment level and hopes for the future.
Tottenham are allegedly growing impatient with Ndombele, who became Tottenham’s record signing when they plucked him from Lyon in 2019.
There have been flashes of his quality in the middle of the park, but they have been all too fleeting; and in truth, Tottenham seemingly don’t know his best position yet.
One notable thing is that Ndombele often leaned on Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko at Tottenham, two fellow French speakers.

Aurier has been released and Sissoko has been sold to Watford, so Ndombele no longer has those friends to help him along the way at Tottenham.
If he wants to go, Tottenham are frankly better off selling him and getting in a midfielder who is focused on Tottenham and will give their all for Nuno.
Would Tottenham get their money back for Ndombele? Almost certainly not, but he is still a player with potential that could fund a move for another player down the line – it all depends on how those talks go this week.
