Tanguy Ndombele ‘is leaving Tottenham Hotspur’ according to a report from Italy.
Tuttomercatoweb have reported this morning that the France international is set to quit Spurs, one year after his club-record £63 million move to North London.
The report adds that Paris Saint-Germain have contacted Tottenham or Ndombele about a move, which would initially be a loan with a view to a permanent deal.
It’s been a rotten first season for the big midfielder – and it’s gotten worse in recent days.
Ndombele has been an unused substitute in both of Tottenham’s games since Project Restart.
A French journalist has since tweeted that the former Lyon powerhouse doesn’t want to play under Jose Mourinho any longer.
Even before Mourinho took the reins at Spurs back in November, it had been a difficult first few months at Tottenham for him under Mauricio Pochettino.
An exit has been tentatively speculated about since but if this report from Italy is accurate, it’s about to get much more concrete.
