Napoli are interested in signing William Saliba from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to TMW.
TMW have reported that Napoli are looking for a new central defender, and that the Serie A club have identified Saliba as a potential target this summer.
Napoli, who finished third in Serie A this past season and will play in the Champions League in 2022-23, have reportedly made ‘an exploratory survey’ for the 21-year-old France international, described as “quick and a good passer of the ball” by former Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri on Marseille’s official YouTube in 2021.
Saliba recently said that he will go back to Arsenal now that his loan spell at Marseille has finished.

In our view, Arsenal are unlikely to let William Saliba leave for Napoli in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners paid £27 million for the 21-year-old, who has yet to make an appearance in the Premier League for the North London club.
Arsenal will play in the Europa League next season, and Arteta will need a big squad.
We do not think that Arsenal will be open to letting go of Saliba this summer.
Unless, of course, Napoli offer a ridiculous transfer fee that Arsenal cannot turn down.
