West Ham United have been linked with Jack Wilshere.

According to the London Evening Standard, West Ham United are focusing on signing Alfie Mawson and Felipe Anderson before firming up a move for Jack Wilshere.
The Hammers added two new signings last week as goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski and defender Issa Diop arrived from Swansea City and Toulouse respectively, joining Ryan Fredericks at the London Stadium.
West Ham are now continuing their recruitment drive, and whilst central midfield is a major area of concern for new manager Manuel Pellegrini, it seems that other deals are taking priority.

The London Evening Standard claim that West Ham are interested in signing free agent Jack Wilshere, but will be focusing on signing Swansea defender Alfie Mawson and Lazio winger Felipe Anderson first.
Mawson, 24, would be another upgrade to the West Ham defence having impressed in his two Premier League seasons with Swansea, with a return to London no doubt appealing to the centre back.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Brazilian Anderson – being pursued in a club-record deal – could provide creativity and trickery out wide for Pellegrini, who may turn his attentions to midfield one those two signings are done.

Wilshere is appealing given that he is available on a free transfer having left Arsenal, but with his injury history and his wage demands, West Ham may even look elsewhere for midfield reinforcements yet.
Sky Sports recently claimed that West Ham want to land Nice midfielder Jean Seri in a big-money deal, and with the Ivorian starring in France with no major injury woes, he may yet be a third target that the Hammers prioritise over free agent Wilshere.
