Paul Lambert and Aitor Karanka are reportedly on Sheffield Wednesday’s radar.

Wednesday’s performances and results so far this season have been disappointing.
The Owls, who reached the Championship playoffs in each of the past two seasons, are as low as 12th in the league table at the moment.

Carvalhal’s side have managed to pick up only 16 points from 12 matches, four fewer than Leeds United, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 61, October 15, 2017), Wednesday are looking at Lambert and Karanka as possible managerial candidates.

Lambert is without a managerial job at the moment, having left Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of last season.
Karanka is also current available, with the Spaniard having parted company from Middlesbrough in March 2017 after guiding them to the Premier League.
