Tottenham Hotspur finished third in the Premier League this season.

Tottenham Hotspur secured a third-place finish in the Premier League on Sunday, beating Leicester City 5-4 in a topsy-turvy game at Wembley Stadium to bring the curtain down on their season.
Spurs now have exciting times ahead, as they have again qualified for the Champions League and will be moving into their new stadium, though big signings will be needed to ease fans’ concerns.
Experienced performers such as Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele have all been linked with moves away, and fans are not only worried that they will leave, but also that Mauricio Pochettino won’t be given the funds to replace them.

Now, The Telegraph report that Tottenham have an extensive wish list of summer transfer targets, and whilst it may cost a significant outlay, Spurs could put together a dream transfer window for Pochettino.
The report notes that Ajax starlet Matthijs de Ligt is the top target as a successor to Alderweireld, whilst the same can be said for Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon as a Rose replcement.
The two teenagers may cost in the region of £100million to land, but with huge futures ahead of them, this would be a statement that Spurs are replacing experienced players with the stars of the future, continuing to build in the years to come.

Midfielder Mateo Kovacic is also a target, with the Real Madrid talent potentially eyed up to take Dembele’s place. The Croatian is not only a talented passer, but also has the ability to drive forward like Dembele, and also has room to improve given that he has been given limited starts for Real.
With a winger wanted, Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha – who hit nine goals and three assists this season – is the perfect option with pace and skill, providing another dangerous attacking threat for Pochettino to work with.
Landing all four players would almost certainly cost more than £150million, but it would also give Pochettino a dream summer – and underline that Spurs may lose players, but they aren’t giving up their hopes of challenging for the Premier League title under the Argentinian.
