Newcastle United could be set to sell players to raise funds for their summer transfer window plans.

According to a report in the Chronicle, Newcastle United could look to sell Chancel Mbemba, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Karl Darlow in the summer.
Mbemba, Mitrovic and Darlow have all been given fairly regular game-time this season at St. James’ Park by Rafael Benitez.
However, with Newcastle looking to improve after promotion, they are reportedly in danger of leaving Tyneside.

Newcastle are looking to invest heavily in their first-team squad, and Benitez is prepared to offload players to bolster his transfer fund.
Mbemba, Mitrovic and Darlow all have value, and could be sold – to ensure that Newcastle have enough money to spend.

The trio are all likely to be given covering roles, if they stick around, which means that they may be moved on.
Darlow has been Newcastle’s number one stopper for much of this season, while Mitrovic and Mbemba have both played their part in helping Benitez’s side earn promotion.
