Arsenal are reportedly willing to only offer £40 million for Wilfried Zaha despite his asking price being twice as high.

According to a report from The Sun, Arsenal could be willing to offer one of three players to Crystal Palace as they look to get a deal across the line for Wilfried Zaha.
The Sun reports that the Gunners have identified the forward as a key summer target following a campaign in which he scored 10 goals in the Premier League, while also providing five assists.
No Eagles player had a direct hand in more goals, and none caused anything the amount of problems for opposition defenders as Zaha did. Unsurprisingly, he is set to be offered the chance to leave Selhurst Park this summer.
The Sun reports that Arsenal want to sign Zaha but plan to delay their bid until later on in the window in the hope that Palace may have lowered their £80 million valuation of their talisman.

The report notes that Unai Emery has only got a transfer kitty worth half of that amount this summer, so could be willing to throw one of Calum Chambers, Carl Jenkinson or Reiss Nelson into the deal in a part-exchange move.
While Jenkinson has endured a difficult couple of years, Chambers may be a player that Palace show some interest in taking. However, Nelson would surely be the most exciting addition of the three for Roy Hodgson’s men after an exciting season in which he has scored seven goals out on loan in the Bundesliga.
