Glasgow Rangers’ new boss Pedro Caixinha seemingly wants to appoint someone who knows all about the demands at Ibrox.

A report in The Scottish Sun has suggested that Pedro Caixinha is considering potentially appointing Lee McCulloch, Barry Ferguson or Neil McCann to his backroom team at Rangers.
Caixinha’s appointment as the new Gers boss was confirmed last week, but it appears that he is still working on putting the people in place he believes can help the side close the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
The Scottish Sun reports that McCulloch, Ferguson and McCann are being considered by the new manager, as he seemingly tries to bring someone in who knows all about the demands at Ibrox.
McCann currently works as a pundit for Sky Sports, and has seemingly not been involved with a club since leaving his job as Dunfermline assistant in 2015.

Meanwhile, McCulloch is currently in charge of Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock on an interim basis, and made over 200 league appearances for the Gers across all four divisions.
However, Ferguson may perhaps be the most obvious candidate. The retired midfielder captained the Light Blues in two spells with the club, making over 430 appearances in the process. He won five league titles, five Scottish Cups and five League Cups so clearly knows what it will take for the current team to win silverware.
And with the 39-year-old currently unattached having left his post as Clyde manager in February, it would not be that surprising if he would jump at the chance to come back and potentially help Caixinha try and lead Rangers to some glory.
