Harry Kane would like to join Manchester United or Manchester City if he is to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to The Independent.

It’s claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are likely to make a move for Kane this summer in the hope of reuniting him with Mauricio Pochettino.

PSG are thought to be one of the few clubs able to pay around £150million to tempt Daniel Levy into a deal, but he would prefer to stay in England.

Kane’s preference is to join a Manchester club though, which Levy would hate as he is ‘especially reluctant’ to sell Kane to an English rival.

The 27-year-old has been Tottenham’s talisman for years now, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that he may need to leave Spurs in order to win big trophies.

City can certainly offer that under Pep Guardiola, and they have an opening up to with Sergio Aguero set to leave this summer.

United haven’t won anything major under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but adding Kane could make them legitimate title contenders.

Spurs would surely rather sell to PSG than a Premier League rival, and it’s hard to see Levy accepting an offer from a direct competitor.

United and City can turn the screw with big-money offers, but Levy will be determined to say no and keep Kane at the club for years to come; that’s the dream, anyway.
