According to talkSPORT, West Bromwich Albion will sack manager Slaven Bilic – and there are three names in the frame to replace him.
They claim that Bilic will lose his job, possibly as soon as today, despite his side valiantly claiming a 1-1 draw at Manchester City on Tuesday night.
It’s stated that the Baggies spent yesterday looking at potential replacements, and Sam Allardyce is now their ‘number one target’.
Nigel Pearson and Mark Hughes are also wanted by West Brom, with out-of-work managers who possess Premier League experience seemingly the criteria.
66-year-old Allardyce was born in nearby Dudley and featured once for West Brom as a player, meaning links to him aren’t a huge surprise.
He has been branded something of a survival specialist in recent times, having previously helped save Sunderland and Crystal Palace from the drop, as well as stabilising Everton.

Allardyce has though been out of management for more than two-and-a-half years, so West Brom would still be taking something of a risk by going for him.
Pearson helped Watford last season but his form eventually faded, and he also has brief history with West Brom; he was their caretaker manager back in 2006 when Bryan Robson departed.
Hughes hasn’t been in management since losing his Southampton job two years, but has vast Premier League experience, which is what West Brom seem to be looking for as they consider life after Bilic.
