Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Crystal Palace have been linked with former Leeds United manager Garry Monk.

Sunderland and Middlesbrough are interested in appointing Garry Monk as their new manager, according to The Northern Echo.
Monk has recently resigned from his role as the Leeds United manager after just a season in charge of the Whites.
The former Swansea City boss had a successful campaign with the Whites, as he narrowly failed to guide them into the top six of the Championship this season.

According to The Northern Echo, both Sunderland and Middlesbrough want to appoint Monk as their manager.
Both the Black Cats and Boro will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.
Crystal Palace are also reported to be showing an interest in the 38-year-old former central defender.

Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Palace all are big clubs, and Monk would do a great job at any of those teams if he is backed in the summer transfer window.
The Eagles could have an advantage, as they are in the Premier League and have a squad that, on paper at least, can push for a top-10 finish next season.
