Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
Manchester United watched Everton striker Romelu Lukaku in action last month, according to The Daily Star.
Lukaku featured for Everton against Crystal Palace in the Premier League game at Goodison Park on Friday, September 30.
According to The Daily Star, United had scouts at Goodison Park, with right-back Seamus Coleman and Lukaku the main targets.
Lukaku, who has been in good form so far this season, scored against Palace in the match which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The 23-year-old has scored five goals and created 12 chances in six Premier League appearances for the Toffees so far this campaign.
The former Chelsea striker has established himself as one of the best in his position in the Premier League.
The Belgium international has worked with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, with the Portuguese now in charge of United.
While Lukaku is a very good striker, it is hard to see the Red Devils making a move for the former Anderlecht star in the January transfer window.
United do not need a striker at the moment, as they have Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford – and Wayne Rooney.
