Carney Chukwuemeka, Louie Barry, Jadon Philogene-Bidance, Aaron Ramsey, Tyriek Wright and Lamare Bogarde could all make their debuts for Aston Villa against Liverpool, the Athletic report.

With Villa’s training ground now closed, it appears that the claret and blues will have to name a completely unproven line-up this evening in the FA Cup.

Villa are expected to name a team filled with under-23 players, which puts Liverpool into the driving seat for the tie.

While Jurgen Klopp is expected to rotate, his team will face changes which are nowhere near as dramatic as the alternations that Villa will have to make.

Villa’s youngsters will surely be champing at the bit for their potential opportunity, though.

And the potential of seeing Barry in action may just be the most exciting prospect for Villa fans.

Barry joined Villa from Barcelona, and is considered to be one of the very best prospects for his age in English football.

The striker still needs to develop physically, but he has proven to have a strong eye for goal at youth level, and it seems only a matte of time before he is playing more regularly for Villa’s first-team.
