Arsenal could offload a number of players this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal boss Unai Emery is planning something of a clearout this summer, with defender Shkodran Mustafi expected to go.
The Gunners beat Napoli in the Europa League to set up a semi-final clash with Valencia, but saw their Champions League qualification hopes dented with a 3-2 home defeat to Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham all failed to win this weekend, so Arsenal will feel like they missed a golden opportunity – and fans have been pointing the finger at Mustafi.
The German centre back was hopeless against Palace, serving up another dreadful display which sums up his season – and it could be his last season with the club.
The Daily Mail claim that boss Emery is sanctioning a clearout this summer, and Mustafi is one of six players Emery wants out of the club this summer in order to free up funds for other signings.
Mustafi, 26, has been unreliable ever since Arsene Wenger lured him from Valencia in 2016, and it seems that Emery is finally losing patience – though it’s also noted that Arsenal have been open to selling Mustafi for some time now, and whilst there appears to be more urgency now, they haven’t found a buyer yet.

Elsewhere, David Ospina, Carl Jenkinson, Calum Chambers, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil are believed to be on the chopping block, with none of them having long-term futures under Emery going forward.
That should free up money on the wage bill for incomings, whilst adding to Emery’s alleged – and meagre – transfer budget of £45million.
