Benitez is one of the best football managers in the world and is one of the biggest names in the Premier League.
If the Spaniard decides to leave Newcastle – who, like West Ham, are struggling for survival in the Premier League – at the end of the season, then the London club should do whatever they can to secure his services.
While Silva has proved himself to be a capable manager and likes to play attractive football and Wagner has performed a minor miracle in guiding Huddersfield to the Premier League from the Championship, West Ham’s first choice should be Benitez.
