Carlos Carvalhal is considering whether to let the quartet leave the Championship club in the coming weeks.

A report in the Sheffield Star has claimed that Sheffield Wednesday could be willing to offload four of their fringe players this summer as Carlos Carvalhal continues his preparations for the new season.
The Star reports that Sergiu Bus, Marnick Vermijl, Claude Dielna and Darryl Lachman could all find themselves leaving Hillsborough in the coming months having failed to make an impression during their time with the Owls.

All of the quartet spent at least a portion of last season out on loan, and had to look on as Wednesday came within one game of earning promotion to the Premier League.

And it appears that their time away from the club may have done little to convince the Portuguese that they have a role to play as the side look to go one step further during this upcoming season, as the Star suggests that they could well find themselves on their way out if a suitable bid comes in.
If Carvalhal does decide that the four players do not have a future in his team, then it obviously makes sense to get rid of them now. Any money saved from their departures could enable the Owls boss to reinvest in adding the kind of players that will boost the team’s chances of sealing promotion.
