Nottingham Forest boss Martin O’Neill is planning on making major alterations to his squad.

According to the Nottingham Post, five players could leave the City Ground today, as Martin O’Neill plans a mini clear-out.

Forest are looking to bring in up to three players, and to do so, they will have to clear the decks.

Liam Bridcutt, Zach Clough, Jason Cummings and Jamie Ward are the senior players who could leave Forest, while youngster Virgil Gomis is also set to join Notts County on loan.

Bridcutt and Clough have both reportedly attracted a great deal of interest, with O’Neill willing to sell the pair.

Ward, meanwhile, is said to be likely to move to Walsall in League One, as he searches for more game time.

Cummings has also only just returned to Forest after his loan spell at Peterborough United was cut short, but O’Neill does not want to take a look at the striker.

Cummings, instead, will be loaned straight back out – with Forest looking to find him a new home now.
