Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is ready for a complete overhaul of his squad.
According to a report form the Daily Mail, Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is looking to offload up to eight players before the transfer widow closes.
The foreign market does not shut until the end of this month, so the Saints don’t necessarily need to sell everyone by 5pm today.
Southampton have already made some impressive signings this summer with Danny Ings, Che Adams and Moussa Djenepo all joining for around £50 million.
The Saints have also tied key man Nathan Redmond down to a new deal.
Hasenhuttl clearly wants to balance the books, however.
And the Daily Mail has named eight players who the Austrian wants to move on.
On the Mail’s live transfer feed at 09:10, it is claimed that Southampton are prepared to sell or loan out the following players – Charlie Austin, Mario Lemina, Guido Carillo, Wesley Hoedt, Mohamed Elyounoussi, Sofiane Boufal and goalkeepers Fraser Forster and Alex McCarthy.
And it could be agreed that Southampton fans will not be too upset to see any of the aformentioned players leave St Mary’s this summer.
