Rangers will shake up their squad this summer and Bruno Alves is among those facing the axe.

Sweeping changes are coming at Rangers this summer with numerous incomings and outgoings expected at Ibrox this summer.
Allan McGregor has already signed and rumours are emerging daily about players who will also be signing for Steven Gerrard.
Big name defender Bruno Alves is included after a disappointing season at Ibrox.

The report states Eduardo Herrera, Michael O’Halloran, Lee Hodson, Joe Dodoo, Andy Halliday, Russell Martin, Bruno Alves, and Dalcio will all be axed.
Dalcio and Russell Martin are both on loan deals which are set to expire so their moves look like a formality.
Herrera and Alves were both signed by Pedro Caixinha last summer and will have lasted just one season at the club.
Michael O’Halloran and Andy Halliday both returned to Rangers in January after going out on loan but both failed to make a positive impression, while Joe Dodoo had a disappointing spell out on loan at Charlton.

It is hard to argue the case for any of the eight carrying on with the Gers.
The report adds that decisions must also be reached over suspended duo Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace.
Loanee Carlos Pena was not mentioned but he too is not considered to have a future with Rangers under Gerrard.
