Sheffield United are reportedly in talks with a mystery transfer target.

According to the Sheffield Star, one of Sheffield United’s summer transfer targets visited Bramall Lane last week – though the identity of the player remains a mystery.
The Blades enjoyed a strong first season back in the Championship, securing a top half finish under Chris Wilder following promotion from League One.
Wilder has now signed a new three-year contract to stay with his boyhood club amid questions over his future, and he will be looking to bring in new signings this summer.

The Sheffield Star now report that a mystery transfer target visited Bramall Lane last week, as the Blades look to push for signings to head into next season.
It’s unclear just who the player was, but he was allegedly accompanied by his agent and has been approached about signing for the Blades, with Wilder looking to kickstart his business.
A goalkeeper may be needed, and whilst Chelsea’s Jamal Blackman will be wanted back on loan after a strong season, other candidates may be lined up in case Blackman doesn’t return.

Chelsea teammate Kasey Palmer has also been linked with a move to South Yorkshire, though it’s unclear just how far along the Blades are in their bid for the playmaker.
United’s mystery man may not be Palmer, but fans wil be left guessing just who Wilder is attempting to bring in as his first summer signing.
