West Ham United are reportedly pursuing a deal for striker Danny Ings.

According to a report from The Sun, West Ham United are interested in raiding Premier League rivals Liverpool as they pursue striker Danny Ings ahead of the January transfer window.
The Hammers brought in David Moyes as their new manager on Tuesday, landing the Scot just 24 hours after parting ways with former manager Slaven Bilic, following a poor start to the season.
Moyes must now work to keep to West Ham in the Premier League, and whilst he will be taking a look at his players, he may already have his eyes on some January signings to boost his squad.

Despite having Javier Hernandez, Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho at his disposal, Moyes could look for another striker to provide a goal boost in the final third, and The Sun claim that West Ham are plotting a move for Danny Ings.
The Liverpool striker starred with Burnley, hitting 43 goals in 130 games for the Clarets before leaving at the end of his Turf Moor contract in 2015 – but his time at Anfield has been marred by injury.
Ings has suffered two major knee injuries in his two seasons with the club, limiting him to just three goals in 12 games for the Reds, and a loan move in January may be just what he needs to get fit and firing.

Alleged interest from Moyes isn’t a huge shock given that, back in 2015, the new West Ham boss – then managing Real Sociedad – admitted that he wanted to sign Ings, but wasn’t sure if he would move to Spain.
Now, almost three years on, Moyes could finally land his man in a January loan deal, though Newcastle United and Bournemouth are also understood to be keen on signing him.
